How does Hellblade reach its players (how is it distributed)?
Hellblade reaches its players in a few different ways. One way which it reaches the players would be through Microsoft Windows and Playstation 4, this would be the most popular way of distribution as they were both released first in August 2017 so have been known the longest of time. After this Hellblade decided to release a Xbox One version in April 2018. You can also download Hellblade from the internet and play it from there. Last of all Hellblade then released the game on the Nintendo Switch platform in spring 2019.

Hellblade Poster

Here is a poster of Hellblade and it is of the main character Senua. This poster is advertised on a website called Allkeyshop which is a video game website. The context of this is a print poster. The placing of the text on this poster is slap bang in the middle and is fairly large, the reason for this is to grab the viewers attention of what the game is called so that they know. Because of this it was probably an early release poster as they're isn't much content and only shows Senua taking up the most of the image with her sword which leaves mystery and leaves us intrigued from the gloomy and dark setting. This targets its audience by using the dark imagery which is obviously what they like if the genre of the game which they are playing is a dark fantasy, the colours of this poster work really well with this and also using the blue in the characters name to suggest that she is the "good" person and the "Hero".

Above is a link to the cinematic Hellblade Trailer, and this product is advertised on youtube. The placing of the text of Hellblade took up pretty much the whole screen when it was featured with a black background ( the title ). The reason why they didn't show the title over imagery is so you could really focus on it and it adds effect when it comes in at the right time when the music drops, this works really well. What it is is a video animation. The advert targets its audience by using the right colour ways dark and gloomy blues and blacks, also uses some oranges and reds for the fire but other than that is dark blues blacks. The imagery which is used in this trailer is used very well with the camerawork working with the music and switching really adds the tension. The imagery also is very focused on the main character which is what the target audience will like as if they're playing an adventure game with a main protagonist character then they'll want to feel connected to the character and already will feel this a little bit from the trailer as its mainly focused on her.
